SFA Executive Excellence Program
This corporate-based training program is for college graduates seeking a fast-paced, dynamic environment. The program is designed to prepare candidates for a career in Merchandising with Saks Fifth Avenue, Saks OFF 5TH and Saks Direct.
Program Objectives
- Prepare recruits for a potential role in merchandising or store management.
- Develop an understanding of the roles and responsibilities in each of those areas.
- Build cross-functional expertise for success in stores, buying, or allocation.
- Ease the adjustment to the company culture.
- Programs are typically held once a year in July and last nine months.
- BA/BS Degree from an accredited four-year university or college.
- Minimum one year cumulative experience in a retail environment, including summer jobs, part-time work, full-time work, and internships.
- Excellent computer and analytical skills.
- High energy level, motivated, disciplined and proven leadership ability.
- GPA minimum of 3.0 – A copy of your college transcript will be required.
- Willingness to relocate to New York City.
